The Kon was an exceptional time. I got to meet some great people, and saw parts of Derry, er, I guess it was Bangor, that were great to see.
CJ, Kim, Lyn, Jax, and others in their group had what appeared to be 'the raft' at their camp. Also there was some mysterious object submerged just off shore. Turned out to be a radiator.
Try as I might, I never did find Mrs. Todd's shortcut. I was just trying to shave off a few miles on my return trip home...
It really was cool to see people who traveled from all over the place to get there. (OH, CA, TN, KY, GA, CO, WA, MI, WI, FL, NH, MA, Finland, and I'm probably missing some...) And we got to meet Ms. Mod...

...it was one of the singular events of my life, and I met my family...I hope for more, and to embrace those that I have yet to meet face to face...err, well with my size...face to belly-button...

Would be fun for sure! I am still in that stage of life where vacations are all about the kids, and we have family with a beach house -so we typically go there. However, Nashville & Ohio are easy enough for me. Though I would LOVE, LOVE to go to Maine or Colorado. If Ka wills it, I'll be there.
Did we ever decide where next year's Kon is going to be? 2014 is speeding up on us pretty quick. I think it was between Mansfield and the Stanley hotel.
I'd love to come to one some day, I know I'm not around the boards too often, but I always feel comfy here. Right now though, vacations of any kind are out of the budget. Unless it's at Mansfield, might be able to talk my babe into us going a day if there was enough notice to get a sitter. Mansfield's only like 2 hours from me I think, maybe less. Bro-in-law did roofing work on the new prison down there last year, year before, something like that. Ha! But yea, I'd love to come, sounds like a load of fun! 
That's why I'm asking now. I need to do some SERIOUS saving up.

I've been in the same county all my 28 years, though three different towns. I'd love to get out though, lol. I like the scenery and everything, I just need some adventure! 
Hopefully kingkon will be in my budget this year.

Yep. That's why having the Kon at Mansfield wouldn't break my heart. It's right up the road from home.
I hope to make the next one....all depends on what football camps my boys get invited to next summer.
Maybe with Mr. Mercedes coming out in June (? I think I read that somewhere?) Ms. Mod could advise us if/when/where Sai King would be touring in 2014...schedule the Kon with that. Just a suggestion.
