I thought my cats were spoiled. This cat is so spoiled. And if you listen closely, he's snoring. Some of that is probably due to his Persian flat nose, but he's napping too. There are other videos of him doing various things. Well, I should say, the tableau around him changes. He seems to stay in the same position.

Woman kicks snow at cat named Buddy. Buddy gets even.
I say GO CAT.
(I'm sorry to say Buddy was put to sleep for this)
I feel two ways about this (probably three) pissed at her for doing that to him to begin with, glad he got his own back.. and TERRIFIED for his future now that she's probably really mad. I can just imagine her going inside for her firearm, or husband... or something else. Poor Buddy...

Oh sh1t... at first I didn't see your message in the brackets under the video. Now I wish that I'd never even 'met' Buddy. Bloody humans.
They decided that Buddy had to be examined for rabies because of the attack, and they can't do that with a live animal. He was negative.

Me, I'm just mad at her. She wasn't hurting him but she was obviously treating him poorly.

I read Mark Patinkin's article about cats - meh

He should own a Siamese - both of mine are very demonstrative and loving. One of them will come when he is called!
Plus - if a mouse is ever silly enough to get into our house the cats will make short work of him
I used to have a cat that would jump up into my arms if I held them out (and down) to him and said 'Up!'. One of my cats will play fetch. They're not dumb animals.

My Siamese (all three that I have owned) would fetch a little rolled up ball of paper. I'd throw it - they would chase after it, bring it back to me, and wait for me to throw it again! I had a female Siamese who growled at a moving man (when we moved into our house) and he said he had never heard a cat growl like a dog before!

And his point is?????

Okay. So some of that he got right. But I did have a cat who came when I called. Every single time. I have cats right now that play fetch.

I feel my cats and I are on equal ground. ;) I like their independence. Dogs are too needy. Don't get me wrong, I love dogs. I grew up with the best pups ever and I miss them and think about them fondly. I would have a dog now but my husband and I don't see eye-to-eye on the dog issue. He wants a dog that lives in the back yard. NO! What? Open the door, throw out food and water, talk to them for 3 seconds and shut the door in their face? I want an inside dog that is part of the family. I will not look through a glass door at a member of my family.

But cats take care of themselves for the most part. Until my one cat sh*ts all over himself which he does frequently and I have to clean him up. Apparently he doesn't have a wide enough stance.

Cats are great people.
