When Neesy is on a mission, nothing stops her!!There's a story here:
They have turned the public works building into an assisted living home. We descended on them Sunday afternoon like paparazzi-locusts, and one of the more drunken residents told us that WE were on PRIVATE PROPERTY, and we should GET THE BLEEP OUT NOW IF WE KNOW WHAT"S BLEEPING GOOD FOR US!It was upsetting, and a staff member calmed him down. At this point, several of our party decided to leave. Neesy, on the other hand, walked up to the gentleman and struck up a dialogue. After a few minutes, we watched agape as she and the man disappeared into the ancient building. I followed, and he led us up through the building's elevator to see the interior water wheel!!! He was very apologetic and sweet. Neesy got a pic with us and the gentleman, so we need to see it.
I hope you can come to the next one and I can meet you!Nomik thank you for sharing-- it means a lot!!
On the bucket list!I hope you can come to the next one and I can meet you!
you can say that again!!! The others were a little alarmed and later asked what in the name of all things good we were doing in there!!! Robert Gray was nominated to come in and retrieve us, and his wife was with us!!When Neesy is on a mission, nothing stops her!!
I hope you can come to the next one and I can meet you!
Does anyone know if the location for the next Kon has been decided? I suggest Sarasota, Florida. But then again, I'd love to go back to Maine. On the bucket list!
Usually Scott and the musketeers discuss a SK related location. Am sure it will be approached soon. I don't think there has been a west coast event.Does anyone know if the location for the next Kon has been decided? I suggest Sarasota, Florida. But then again, I'd love to go back to Maine.
I was wondering the same. I was also thinking Florida (Great minds)Does anyone know if the location for the next Kon has been decided? I suggest Sarasota, Florida. But then again, I'd love to go back to Maine.
Exactly. I agree. Just throwing that out there. Everyone is still buzzed on that Kon Afterglow. Heh.give me time to savor this one....
Never leave Neesy alone!!I have one more great Neesy story:
She had been inquiring about an herb shop in which she could find some of the hibiscus tea that Mrs. Gray drinks. Mr. Gray and I separated from Neesy and Josh for a few minutes Saturday morning because I wanted to check out Gerald's store. Eventually, Neesy rings my cell to discover our whereabouts and she tells me she's been to an herbal tea shop! I walk outside to discover that what she has just exited was actually the HEAD SHOP!!! The man behind the counter, "bubbles", "must have been on drugs", according to Neesy. He had never heard of hibiscus tea, but could offer varying degrees of THC oil.
Never leave Neesy alone!!
