Excellent movie, I love how all the plot lines and details get wrapped up into a nice little package in the end. Very satisfying.
I hope they make a sequel, unusual for Rian Johnson to make a decent, well written, movie.
I’ve heard Brick and Looper are good. Plus, I’m getting Deja Vu, I’m 100% sure we’ve had this conversation before.
I don’t think a sequel would do much. I think it works better as a stand alone movie

I loveJohn Cassavetes. I think he is very underrated. Or maybe I just don't travel in circles that would champion him. He's so good.Dana Jean
Saw a good one that just showed up on The Criterion Channel called Gloria. It's a John Cassavettes movie. It's about an ex mobster woman that is trying to hide a young boy the mob is after (the boy's dad worked for the mob and things went sideways)
Also saw another Sidney Poitier movie on Criterion that I liked called The Slender Thread. It's about a college student (Sidney) who works part time at a suicide hotline. He's very inexperienced at this and basically just fills in when the others are out. He gets a call from a woman who is trying to kill herself and has taken a bunch of pills. She wants to talk to him but won't give any information about where she's at or who she is. So the movie is Sidney trying to get information out of this woman so he can get rescue people to her. It's a very tense movie. It's from 1965 and wait until you see how difficult it was to attempt to trace a call in 1965.
Both of these sound great. I will definitely put them in my lineup and watch them.

I just... didn’t care for it at all. Interesting concept, sure. Movie, not for me.
The Movie is interesting(for me at least) because of the "Brain in vat" Theory.
The King starring Timothee Chalamet. This was a Netflix original. I liked it although it's not a very happy movie. I think Chalamet smiled all of three times in it.
The fight with Agent Smith at the end is the most amazing thing ever put to film ...

Not a good look for him. Uh uh, not at all. Of course he may actually be looking like that in real life now since we can't get our haircut and he might have done an 'at home' cut himself.
