Saw. Never was going to watch the movie as I thought there is much blood in it, but my friend convinced me to watch it and promised I would not be scared... Well, I was scared:0: In fact, I was very afraid. Probably, that's one the most scary movies I have ever seen. Yes, it's very good and interesting... but so frightening. After watching so many horror movies, I did not think something can make me this scared.

I watched a movie called Extracted. I loved it because the person went inside the memories of another person, just like in the Gunslinger II, when he went into the heads of all three people.
BTW that's not made up but I have no idea how he knew it was possible to do it before he had his accident and almost died, where he would have found out that while you're leaving your body it's suddenly possible to be inside another person and all of a sudden know things about them that you're not supposed to know and didn't know before it happened.
That happened to me. The doctor thinks it was a dream but the statement makes no sense. It might be possible for it to be a dream but then it isn't going to also be possible that you dreamed you knew the name of one of the Life Flight medic's brothers and how he died more than 10 years ago. That you knew the color of his clothes when he left and what kind of truck he drove off in - and be right about every last detail. That's not coincidence but the doctor called it that.
He was so close-minded that I suddenly asked him "What do you believe happens to people when we die?"
"We turn to dust and are gone," he replied. "We have no souls."
I refused to argue with his opinion but I asked for a different doctor because his absolute refusal to see anything that wasn't in his own experience made him a bad doctor IMO. If he could do that with one thing he was capable of being that way with other things - like my health care. So I got a different doctor.

The Impossible. Third time, and I like it better each time.
Thanks for reminding me about it, I was going to re-watch it, too, and I keep forgetting about it. I'll try and re-watch it soon.

I watched Saw 2 yesterday. I find it not as good and scary as the first part. Not too bad, but not as cool. The best part is the ending, apart from that - nothing is really worth attention.

Elysium was a decent summer popcorn movie. Lots of stuff that didn't make sense logically, but excellent exploding bodies--lol. Matt Damon was his normal good performance self, but what the heck was that accent Jodie Foster failed so spectacularly at doing?
:bad_smelly:

It was a good film, very political (which I liked).

I've never seen the SAW movies--I had the impression they were upscale snuff films. Now you make me re-think (at least on the first one) I trust your judgement :) Might have to give that one a chance.

I watched The Lego Movie and Sinister yesterday. LilMan loves his Legos, so I couldn't resist getting it for him. Cute movie! Sinister was pretty good--better if the end wasn't telegraphed so early.

I generally don't like this type of movie either, but the original Saw is worth a watch! =D

I couldn't watch Saw 2 because of the scene where the girl has to put her hand in the clear tube to get the antidote. I can watch people get their arms, lega or heads torn off but cannot abide watching someone get cut!!!!!!
