I get it. I feel the same way about the 2nd half of The Stand. Once the book turns away from the Superflu and towards the mythological struggle I lose interest and mentally check out. What can ya do?And I tried again. While sitting in the ER with my son for hours. And I found people watching much more interesting.
Well I have to agree, This is by far one of my least fav SK stories. I read it in two sittings on a flight to and from LA. Its a short one in comparison to his other works, I would just finish it and put it under your belt and move on. You know check that one off the list.Just thought I'd give an update. I've made it about half way through the colorado kid and I'm bored out of my mind with it. I'm trying to decide if I should give it another chance and finish it or just move on.
