TV show was CSI:Miami when H's wife died.
I cry at a lot of them on that show.

One that had me in tears on ER, aside from Dr. Green (may we never speak of THAT sobfest again!), was when Dr. Anspaugh's son got cancer the second time. Cried all through his funeral, especially when Jeannie sang Good Riddance (Time of your life) by Green Day. I so loved that show.

The hardest I have ever cried wasn't a movie, but a show. Six Feet Under, the last 10 minutes of the final episode, I was like a friggin' howler monkey sobbing.

My kids were watching me and a little freaked out and amused too. Not at my obvious pain, but I think it was an uncomfortable laugh, a gallows humor. They had never seen me cry so hard since my mom died.

Could not name them. Just mom and dad, and D1, to D4

They were all scientific and such. Said, don't get attached. Did anyway.

Saw him grow. And I saw him fly.

Oh, Flake and I were watching a eagle nest one year. For some reason, the eggs just didn't hatch. The parents worked so hard for this nest. It was heartbreaking.

Then, we found another nest to watch. And it dawned on me --- duhhhhhh! That this momma and poppa eagle were going to feed their babies. And sometimes the stuff they fed them was not dead yet.

I quit watching.

I may not ever be able to re-watch this movie now. It's been 1 1/2 months but it's still too raw for me.

Oh, Flake and I were watching a eagle nest one year. For some reason, the eggs just didn't hatch. The parents worked so hard for this nest. It was heartbreaking.

Then, we found another nest to watch. And it dawned on me --- duhhhhhh! That this momma and poppa eagle were going to feed their babies. And sometimes the stuff they fed them was not dead yet.

I quit watching.

I got used to it..? Fishes floppin. lots of squirrels .... One time a baby pig and a deer leg. jesus god, I was rooting for the eagles and hid my feelings for the others. The nest was the size of a king size bed.


Mom in the rain. Loved her. Saw this live, and scared for babies - they were just about ready to fly, but not ready yet

I did hide my eyes till it was over. And then guess the thing they flew in. When the carnage was over.

I surprised myself to be accepting of this. Nature at work.

Yeah, Old Yeller was tough. It was so ingrained in society that Bill Murray's character has instant recognition when mentioning it in that Army basic training comedy.

I went to the pictures with my then wife and her parents, to see The Green Mile. Because I knew what was coming, I was blubbering most of the way through. That thing when your throat kills when you're trying to hold it in. 'Heaven, I'm in heaven...'

Movie: Funny enough, it wasn't a person, but a thing. In Castaway with Tom Hanks when he loses "Wilson", his soccer ball. I went into the manly biting my cheeks, stiff upper lip, cough cough...lol. Couldn't help it.

My wife and I watched a movie on the player a week or three ago. Tom Hanks. Fed Ex or whatever the business was. Watching the movie and allofasudden there's Wilson! We had seen the movie some years ago and even when Wilson made the scene I thought I was watching a completely different movie, was thinking, cool, neato how they used Wilson in this movie, too. Before we started the disc the title didn't ring any bells for me. We'd seen some other movie, Tom Hanks...I think...something to do with luggage strapped together...was thinking or trying to remember if that was the Wilson movie. Wasn't until I saw the other posts with Wilson that I realized, yeah, okay...only one movie with Wilson.

We've watched a few tear-jerkers but I don't remember if that was because someone died or for some other reason. Well...okay, yeah...there was a death in that movie where Clint Eastwood's son has a lead role, 'bout the bull-riding. Didn't know we were watching Clint Eastwood's son until some time later...saw something on-line I think. Once the credits start to roll I lose interest.
