Photorealism painting blows me away! That is the kind of artistic talent I can respect and why I'll never understand how abstract painting is considered "art" and not just paint thrown on a canvas.

I once entered a watercolor of mine of hot air balloons in a county art contest. They included it in with the photography competition. Granted form afar it looked like a little like a photo, but up close -- no way jose.

I would love to see Lloyd do one of Uncle Steve's dustcovers. I bet it would be good. He does stuff for Post cereal boxes or use to. He is very busy and is always working. This painting was commissioned by a woman whose husband died. It was a pic of the fellows favorite fishing place....Pelly's Point...in Newfoundland.

Lloyd's son is named David. This is the first book in a series he is doing. Lloyd did the bookcover art.
