Hi, I've got the Collector's Set first edition of Just After Sunset which has a DVD version of 'N' sealed in at the back of the book. The DVD remains with the seal unbroken since 2008 but just lately it's been calling to me from the shelf, which brings me to my question.....should I break open that bad boy and watch the DVD(thereby obviously ruining the pristine condition of my Collector's Set) or keep it sealed to preserve the set as it is?? I'd love to get some feedback on my dilemma....

I will break the ice then:

Go with your gut instinct - I do not collect DVDs and therefore do not know the full value but it would be great to watch N

Cheers Neesy...ya I'm kinda leaning towards opening it and watching it. Still can't bring myself to crack that seal though

Hi.

I watched N on YouTube. (Was that okay? Legal? IDK.) It was EXCELLENT.

If you just want to watch it without breaking the seal on your DVD N addition...maybe that's an option? (Then again, I don't know what the N DVD CD contains. It may be different or have some *extras*?)

Peace.
Hey that's a great idea,I never thought of YouTube. The DVD does have some behind the scenes extras but if I can watch it on YouTube then I guess I'll preserve my set and be happy. Could be a win/win.....thanks Sigmund!!

I don't think it would hurt to open it up and watch it. It's a DVD, not a tape, so it's not going to come to any harm or wear out. N is one creepy story and is way creepy to watch. I thought this was on the site somewhere so we could watch it? Maybe it's on the old site?

I wouldn't open it. I'd see if I could find a used one at Half.com, eBay, etc.

I'm not up with what's what on the copyright/s of the SK videos on YouTube, anybody else know if we're good on this one?
...no clue, I just thought I was being helpful...no toes were stepped on in the posting of this reply(I hope).....by all means, nuke the post if it's defying some legal parameters...
