And this is a good time as any -- PLEASE make sure someone in your life knows to come here and tell Marsha or Jordan if something has happened. Not necessarily a board member -- because they might be in the dark just as much as the rest of us. I'm talking a friend or family member outside this board.

My son is not a member here. But he knows, if something happens to me, he is to contact the board. There is a contact email to reach this board if you have issues. Have them use that. Please everyone, just do this. We worry about you all.

My sister in law and oldest daughter know. The Ogre does as well but when something happens to me he's going to be lost for a while.

I didn't even want to come here today after hearing this news. Nate and I met (in person) at the Kon in Bangor and stayed in touch outside the SKMB. Mostly through the current communication mediums (texting, social media). I wish I had something perfect to say. I don't. I instantly welled up when I read that awful message. He was just a great guy that would give you everything he had to help you out. He was a man of few words, but they were always interesting. His dry wit was hard to catch, but belied a cleverness that didn't show itself right away as he was just an "everyday regular guy" in appearance. The last time I saw him was in a FaceTime call with the 2016 Kon group.

I am extremely heartbroken for his family and fiancee.

Bye man, gonna miss ya something terrible. :teary:

Ah damn, now the tears flow even harder....
Like SK said : " Everybody knows life is hard. But why does it have to be cruel, as well? "

RIP Nate. This is sad and horrible. I read it on FB today and couldn't believe it was true. I met Nate 2013 at the first annual kon. We talked about motorcycles and everything and now he's gone. He was to young to die.:( He will be missed.

Live your life and enjoy everyday. It can end tomorrow.

....I am still reeling, and the full blow of this is coming down on me like a gradual avalanche...Hoss spoke well and eloquently about our friend, and now I come to pay my own tribute to Nate....I just hope I do him proud....Nate and I became friends here on the Board, and cemented that friendship at the Inaugural Kon....and with my wife Tracy and Deb913-we became "The Four Musketeers"...attended each of the subsequent Kons and spent good quality time together....he was a quiet one, my god you'd think he was mute if you didn't know him and recognize the ornery twinkle in his eye....however, once he accepted you-the words and wit flowed....he said a lot without speaking, and volumes of humor and intelligence when he did-also, he was a consummate gentleman, if it was late when our groups broke up for the night-he would always escort the ladies to their rooms or vehicles to ensure they were safe....I'm so glad I hugged him when we parted in Colorado....this may sound like sacrilege to some-but Nate's passing has hit me harder than losing Johnny D, because I KNEW Nate-we broke bread together, shared laughs and many beers....he was a good man, simple as that-and the surviving Musketeers are proud of being his friend, but diminished by this loss....Holy sh*t man, I just can't.........this hurts so fu*king bad!!!!!.....come 2018, I will ensure each Kon t-shirt carries his name....here's to you Nate!!!!!.....Cheeers!!!!!!

I just met Nate at the Kolorado Kon and cant believe that he is gone.:too_sad:
I am happy that I got a chance to know him a little. He seemed like a very nice and well mannered young man. Was looking forward to hanging out with him again at the Kon in 2018.
Prayers for his family and friends. Gone too soon !! R.I.P. Nate
