What a fascinating life story you have Mr. Gane. Glad to have you on the boards. Might you be tempted to read a SK novel one day? :D

Welcome! :howdy:
Thank You for the interest, it has seemed a bit of a bumpy road at times but I am sure that is the same for everyone. I am sorry to say I do not know what an SK novel is... I find it hard to read so I listen to audio books..

Any favorite Stephen King novels that you have listened to?
The last one I listened to was "The Stand" at times I found it a little hard to follow but a great story. What about you? I have watched quite a few of his films. I remember watching Carrie when it was first released, the whole cinema jumped at the end.

I agree The Stand is a great story, but it is not one of my favorites by far (I'm sort of an odd duck in this belief when it comes to SK's legions of fans).

I won't go into the whole story here (as I have in other threads) but I have been reading SK since the publication of Carrie in paperback in 1975. Been with him ever since. I too saw Carrie in the theater when it first came out and jumped along with the whole theater as well!

The whole "cinema" jumped? Are you British? English, Irish, Welsh, Scottish? (or maybe from NZ?) - I think I checked out your blog yesterday but I have short term memory loss - look - a squirrel! :chew::monkey_kite:
