So sorry KFF. That has to be so heartbreaking to do.

We got a new kitten.
The other night, the kids went to a school function, and on the way home, in front of our house Karen saw a kitten by the side of the road.

She scooped it up, and brought it in the house before someone ran over it.
Her name is KitKat, and she has adjusted well to the household. She loves the dog to pieces! Saw her awhile ago chasing after the dog!
She goes to the vet tomorrow to get her shots, and be checked out. We got right on that.
She looks to be 8 to 10 weeks old.
Soeone just tossed her out like so much garbage. Poor thing. But she now has a forever home!!
bless you all for saving her and giving her a home!

....missed you to old friend....hope your time was happier than mine....things have been crappy for the old fat guy....
Hugs to you, my friend! Seems like the bad-gunky is going around then. My best friend is going through a really rough time and I'm worried about her. She's dealing with some deaths in the family, a miscarriage and other things. My heart is breaking for her. All I can do is let her know that I am here and that I love her. (((Scott)))

Our little KitKat has adjusted very quickly! She is not afraid of anything! She follows the dog around, and today she started playing. Our big cat, Tiger, was playing with her too! It was so cute! Tiger was making her cry, but KitKat stood her ground!
Her eyes are clearing up also, and she is gaining a little weight.
Karen got some soft cat food to mix with the hard food to hopefully get some weight on her.
She doesn't walk around crying like she was either. She knows she has found something pretty good here!

I found a stinkbug in my house the other day. Her name is Tina. I released her, but she keeps coming back. Not sure why. What do they eat? I don't have any Purina Stinkbug Chow around the house. She moves slow like a panda. It's kind of sweet.
How do you know for sure it's Tina? Don't they all look the same? ;)
....it was his kinfolk...

I don't know, it acted like Tina. All stink bugs look the same? I'll bet to other stink bugs they don't! If she comes back I might draw an X on her shell with a sharpie. But I don't want to make her sick. :(

(((Neesy))) Hang onto the sound of her laughter.
I wish I could hear her voice like you did with your Mom - maybe I'm just not listening hard enough? She believed in second sight and all that superstitious type of stuff
- she told me all about our family history, even my Granny in Scotland who I never got a chance to meet. It's funny - she liked pets but never really was all that good at having them in the house.

She did like my cat C.J. when he sat up really straight like one of those Egyptian cats. I remember her saying "Look at him!" when he did that when we were visiting for the holidays.
