I spoke too soon. BrodyDog has destroyed Sharky. RIP Sharky :(
I think BrodyDog is the son of this guy: (only he got his mom's looks.)

So, you guys may remember that I had to farewell my big yellow dog (Oz) in Feb this year and I had said that I'd never have 2 dogs at the same time again. I have been lost without my big guy and my girl Ella has been okay when we're busy doing things, but seems a bit lost when we're not.
And... uh, so I found a wee guy that needed a little adopting and one thing is leading to another...

I will be picking him up on Sat afternoon... I really hope Ella falls in love with him as quickly as I have been.

Yet-to-be-formally-named... currently called "Blue" because that was the colour of the collar that was put on him for identification purposes among his siblings.

Oh, FlakeNoir -- he is beautiful . Just look at those pleading eager eyes!! Ella is going to love him. You know how I feel when one departs, and another "just calls" to you. That's Oz, my friend. His gift to you. Many many happy days ahead with Blue. I am so thrilled!!!

New record for BarkBox main toy destruction. 1 hour

No pics from this month's haul as it didn't last long enough for me to get them! The theme was physical fitness so the main toy was a rubber kettlebell. Brodster gnawed off the handle in an hour.

BrodyDog needs a new "can not destroy" dog toy company! Way to go Brodster!!

Thanks everyone! I am absolutely fizzing with excitement, so is my 11-year-old boy.... I think he's going to become great buds with Blue. (Or whatever he ends up being called, honestly he looks more like a "Mack" or "Mac" to me, we'll see.... I can't get "Mack the knife' out of my head these days. )
