Doc, I've just done a test with an image I had uploaded to my FB wall and I'm wondering if while the images are displaying on FB, it is an optical (FB) illusion that they are enlarged? Because when I right-clicked the image and opened it in a new browser page, it was enormous.
So I then saved it to my desktop and checked out the properties (and also in an image re-sizing program) and the image is exactly the same size as it was when it was snapped by my phone.

Can you try this with one of your photos on FB and see if you get the same results?

Thank you, I think most of my enlarged photos were from pics that I'd edited or cropped. But, I know Facebook enlarged some images that I hadn't edited, too. I tried uploading an example but it corrects itself and doesn't appear how it does on Facebook. Some of my edited photos are pixelated and fuzzy, almost like a bad painting (watercolors). Hi Doc, when you uploaded your images to FB was it from your phone or a laptop/other device?

Do you mean the pics that FB has edited? That they are now pixelated and fuzzy? Do they still look this way once you've downloaded them back to your PC/or tablet?
If I were you I would contact them directly through their help/direct contact system and explain what is happening, perhaps they can tweak their settings so your images do not automatically resize when you're uploading to them.

Hello, all. I need your help. Facebook has enlarged some of my photos and I can't figure out how to fix it. Is there a simple trick to it? The one I just shared is appearing normally here but not on Facebook. Yes, I have the originals to some saved on my device. Thanks for your suggestions.
