I'm very lucky. I trade hair services for nail services at our salon. It's win win for me and the nail tech.

OMG! I wanted DAISY or some form of that for my plate, but everything I could think of was taken. I just settled for a plain old random plate.

At my part time job at the big DIY center, seasonal items falls into my department. Halloween items have been out for several weeks and after Labor Day the Christmas items will start being displayed. People complain about how early things appear on the shelves, but there is a whole group of people who enjoy doing their seasonal shopping early. They know if they wait the shelves will be bare of the good stuff. We are already sold out of probably a third of the Halloween items. And I can’t wait for this Halloween stuff to be gone… The big major display pumps Halloween music non-stop. It’s driving me crazy!

They've started using this blue stuff in bathroom tissue ads, now. To simulate poo. It's the same consistency. And they wipe a finger with it. Seriously. What's next; making it brown? And don't even get me started on those Pepto-Bismol ads with people singing about diarrhea. I'm sorry but some things really should be off limits in commercials.
