There has been a dragonfly the size of my hand, perched on the outside door frame since this morning. I am incredibly superstitious and afraid to Google the possible significance.

I never want to be a boring old woman who spends all her days watching tv, skyping, and doing nothing of value.
Watching a bit of the news coverage of hurricane Harvey making landfall in Texas.. And I really hope that everybody stays safe and nobody gets hurt. But does it annoy anyone else when the news reporters tell everybody, scream it to the rooftops to evacuate or get undercover, and then we see them standing out in the middle of the worst part of the storm, like trying to be some macho jerk proving how tough they are. Was just watching this guy and he was almost being blown over by the wind gusts but by gosh he was sure showing us how tough he was..
When you really want to overtake the slow driver in front but then you realise it's your uncle and he knows where you live.
