I'm gonna do better than that.......I've got plans to buy some dirt and go flower stealing today!! :biggrin2:
steal! steal!

A friend and I did this in high school so we could cover the grave of a friend with flowers. Pulled up to a house with scissors and snipped what we could and then took off.. We probably stole somebody's award winning rose entry into the county fair.

It looked pretty awesome.

Cough, cough, that;s my job around here, I'll have you know. :)
Here's the thing, EJ. All the comments were connected to my post about meeting your hairdresser in a dark alley to get a haircut......therefore, I felt sort of responsible. My post was meant to be a joke.
I think that sometimes, some folks tend to try to spin things a little too much toward a political statement, and those folks need to dial it back a bit.
So when the spin was put to my joke, I apologized because the last thing I want is to be making political comments here.
I'm all about annoying people with a pointy stick, but I don't like the political jabs......they make me uneasy.

Someone did this once to me. Dug out some flowers from the front of my house, then entered them into the county fair and won a blue ribbon. I recognized the flowers at the fair because they were unique and reported my suspicions to county officials. The person admitted she stole the flowers from me. The county officials then asked me how they should proceed. It told them the only thing I wanted was for the blue ribbon to be stripped from her, nothing more. That’s all that happened.

So yesterday, I was making a sausage egg scramble for breakfast, and burned the sausage. No worries, I had plenty, so I trashed the burnt stuff and started over.
Didn't think anything of it. Last night, when Munchkin was getting ready for bed, she asked me to come see if something in her room smelled like it was burning.
......yep, the burned sausage smell had reached her room. Poor girl had unplugged all her lights and electronics.

Exactly this. It's one of the reasons we had to start a HT forum in the first place, i.e. that people kept putting political comments in nearly every area of the Board. It's why we're so strict about not doing it now as it isn't fair to others who don't enjoy that and want to come here to talk about all sorts of topics but without the drama that HT has. I'm sorry that your comments got pulled into it.

Now, go have fun and be sure to post a pic of Marsha later on. ;)

I'd have wanted that ribbon for myself.

Oh, for gawd's sake. Stop with that. This is something no government has had to deal with in most people's lifetimes. It's something that scientists are learning new things about on nearly a weekly basis so not exactly something you can say is predictable. Computers can do all the predictions you like but they can't control human behavior and human behavior is what is spreading this virus. Not saying intentionally spreading as being asymptomatic and having no way to be tested to know you're a carrier isn't malicious behavior unless you've been told it's safer to stay in place and you're not doing that or taking any of the other precautions that we've been told will flatten the curve. The only thing they've got to go on is what's happened with actual infection rates and deaths in the prior couple of weeks to know if it's getting safer to start slowly doing re-openings and if that works, add the next level.

Do you really think governments--that rely on income from taxation which means they need a healthy, working population--want to delay that just to **** with people? It's not exactly to their benefit either.
I disagree and a lot of people are up in arms here about it. And I could cite examples and ratings on how different aspects have been handled here, but then that would most definitely get into the realm of HT, so I’ll refrain.
