Check out the remake sometime....it’s really well done.
Oh, I've already checked it out. Bradley Cooper is great in just about everything, although, I do feel for his poor wife and kids. Getting that close to Lady Gaga must have been tough for them. I get it was just acting, but it seemed genuine. Maybe that is more credit to Bradley.

Again people, just my opinion. You don't need to agree. Besides their is a lot of good music getting made, I'm not getting the cain out to throw those stinkin' kids off my lawn yet!
The problem isn’t opinion, it’s how condescending the tone of the message comes off. I think you judge music less from a subjective or specific standpoint, and prefer to make wide assumptions about entire genres based merely on stereotypes and the few songs you hear.

Imagine if someone said to you

“Metal is a talentless genre, it’s all screaming and loud instruments with no thought or talent!”

you’d think they’d be wrong, of course, they would be. You can tell they haven’t heard much metal, or bothered to look into the thought and ideals behind the genre. But you make the same broad statements on Hip-Hop and modern music in general, when there is people who put genuine effort and thought into their music in all genres. Maybe ask a rap fan for group recommendations, maybe you could listen to it and get something out of it, even though you don’t have to like the genre as a whole.

“All this machinery making modern music can still be open-hearted,
Not so coldly charted,
It's really just a question of your honesty, (yeah your honesty)”

To be fair, that describes most modern metal.

Evidently that opinion was shared by kellisblue, because she said herself that at some point she never liked her, but comparing her to Madonna? Nope.
