Today is World Cancer Day.

My heartfelt prayers to everyone out there who has been touched by cancer.

Friend, family, co-worker, someone in your community or yourself -- there are brainiacs working hard on this. The bottom line for the best of them is to save lives, not line their pockets with 30 pieces of silver.

My first screenplay is gonna be about a guy who works in a bookstore. He's the nicest, most helpful salesclerk in the world. He's like a bartender but for books-- a guy who could sell you a broken toilet seat if he set his mind to it. Yes, it's inspired by an actual person. I have an actual title for it and I know how I want him to look and his social circle.

I found this terrific postcard from December of 2008 nestled between my Stephen King book collection.
I am honored to know that so many wonderful people like Ms Mod & Robin Furth, plus the late great Mr John Dalglish took time from their get-together to send me a note.
It's a wonderful life.

I have just read that there is a "Silent Reading Party" next week in a public library.
Never heard about this.
They said, it has it`s origins in the USA.
Has anybody been to this "Party" ?

The only 'Silent Reading Party" I know of is watching my husband read in bed until his book smacks him off the nose.

Thanks spidey. :frog:
