I am back and just enjoying everyone's lovely conversation. The grey in this winter is not my cup of tea.
Welcome back - yup - sort of glum and grey out there today as well - it's been a few days since we got any sunshine (hoping it will return before the end of this week)

The sparkly snow does look pretty under the street lights however

My coworker is a jerk. She is like 15 minutes late everyday. She doesn’t even have the courtesy to call in when she’s gonna be late. She’s also rude to people on the phone and in person. If she was working at my old company then they would’ve fired her a long time ago.

That's unfortunate. Usually with toxic people you can just avoid them, but with coworkers you just feel kinda stuck. Then you feel like if you complain, you're the bad guy.

If you can trust your boss, hopefully you can get a chance to take him/her aside and tell them it's important to you that everyone is held to the same standards of behavior and work ethic. So many bosses let things slide because they lack managerial courage or just don't want to deal with it. But it's literally their job to step in and resolve situations like this. Sometimes they just need a little nudge.

Good luck and try not to let it get you down!

Steve has been very vocal about Maine politics, and he's actually considered running for office I believe, main office not the presidential office, has he ever actually came close to running?
Don't know where you got that idea as he's been vocal about NOT running for public office whether local, state or national level. He loves what he's doing so why take time out of doing that to do something that is just going to give you headaches.

I was going to post an article about it but the Bangor News site wont give me permission. :) I think it was back in 2015 when people were trying to get him to run against Le Page. But obviously Steve wasn't having any of it.

Then again, I'm not perfect myself so I don't wanna say anything or file a complaint. She could have something on me. ???????
