No, I have an old Blackberry I use as an alarm clock (and maybe to play Brickbreaker...) but it's not even hooked up to wifi or anything.
And my son's "phone" is an ipod touch that is powered off for the night.
Might check it. The chime could be low battery notification instead of a text.

I really needed to paint the toenails today( sporting the sandals after wearing boots)..Oh well hope people are not going to stare at th toes.

I'm at the auto shop waiting on the inspection and oil change. I'm also getting nauseous because a young couple who are also waiting, obviously need a Motel 6.......Yuck!!!

I have seen the crawlspace. Once. A couple months ago we had a leak and I had to actually go down there to hold a flashlight for hubby. I was practically hyperventilating thinking the house was going to fall on top of me. So yeah, if someone is down there, they are sh!t outta luck.

It actually was my son's ipod. He'd been asleep for a while before the noise and I thought it was shut down, but when I checked it this morning there was a message from my daughter...I didn't know you could get messages on an ipod, but my daughter said it's an app or something.
