Yes!
It actually was my son's ipod. He'd been asleep for a while before the noise and I thought it was shut down, but when I checked it this morning there was a message from my daughter...I didn't know you could get messages on an ipod, but my daughter said it's an app or something.
So, I wasn't going crazy after all :D
I have wondered about this all day.

Is it me or do most (NOT ALL) young adults have NO phone skills????
Daughter won't be home on election day and wanted me to call to find out how she can vote.
I gave her the number of our local elections office (and lied about the absentee voter deadline so she wouldn't wait 'til last minute) and told her to call herself.
She's almost 20 years old, but she can't make a simple phone call???

Since starting to record the latest episodes of Survivor I know find myself pondering "Generation X" and "The Millennials"

At least I am learning something as a result - I feel like such a voyeur when I watch things like this on TV

Okay - Gen X comes after the Baby Boomers (born between mid-60s and early 80s)

Millennials ??? -and yet the internet is telling me these people were born between 1980 and 2000?

(guess there is some overlap)

Your daughter sounds a lot like mine. I bet she'd could have got her own answers if she was able to text them (like mine would have)........:D
