Hey friends!

My parents are the biggest Stephen King fans alive, and they've raised me to be a huge fan too. So I wanted to share a few items that I've made for my parents over the years and see what y'all think! I'm curious to see if these are items that I could potentially make and sell online. This is a huge passion of mine and I'm excited to share them with you and get some feedback. I'm open to suggestions, ideas, criticism, orders, customizing questions, you name it! So don't be shy! Sorry if the photos are blurry, I tried making them smaller so it would be easier to view, I have many more photos available if you'd like to see more, just let me know. Feel free to message me if you would like more information. Thank you!

Book Keychains and Ornaments: either style option is available. They are made of wood and roughly palm-sized, I wanted them to be strong and able to withstand being thrown around in a purse (as a keychain) or being attacked by a cat on the Christmas Tree (as an ornament). I'm able to customize them, and make any book cover.

Blood Splattered 1408 Room Key Ornament: hand painted wood, with antique room key. Roughly palm-sized, can also be turned into a keychain.

Welcome to the SKMB. These look really great! I'm just going to run the idea past Ms. Mod though as I'm unsure of whether you might run into any copyright issues with selling merchandise, I'm mainly thinking of the film companies that have the rights to some of Stephen's work.

Stephen doesn't own the rights to any artwork, just the text of the books, so you would need to get permission from the artist/publisher for any jacket artwork you would like to use.

For the bottom picture (the paper boat that says SS Georgie) did you use a page from a Stephen King book?

(It doesn't look like it in the picture).

We received one of these recently in Maine and when I looked closely I noticed it had what looked like text from a Stephen King book (stacy270 ???? :umm::cheerful:

No I didn't use that to make the boat, but that's a really cool idea.

I think it's a wonderful idea for giving as gifts, but would check into artist copyright rules before selling them.
I also wonder how heavy the keychains are. A palm sized chunk of wood seems large and might be too heavy for use with car keys.
Heavy keyrings can wreak havoc on a car's ignition switch.

....almost destroyed the ignition switch in my first Jeep, for all the crap hanging off the key chain.....
