I have two tickets for the Hudson Valley event but it appears my wife won't be able to attend. Any idea if they will give you two books with two purchased tickets or is it one book per each person who attends? I've seen it done both ways.

My understanding is that it's one ticket, one book so each ticket is entitled to a book. You might want to check with the local venue and explain the situation to confirm that.

I just read about the sweepstakes to win a book in the news bot section. It says 50 states + DC. I am going to assume that means Dominion of Canada! ;DD
I've already bought 4 copies of the book myself since I pre-ordered the hardcover then decided to get the fancy Cemetery Dance version, and then bought 2 tickets for the book tour which each come with a copy so maybe you can have one of my surplus books, Mal. :)

What a lovely offer, Baby Blue. I think I'll stick to tradition and go down to the Costco when it comes out and grab it off the stack. Maybe you can use the extra copy to gain a convert and bring them on over to the ka-tet! Thank you very much, mal.

I check the Chapters every so often, as well as places like Sally Anne's and Value Village. That yearly St. Vital book sale is great but I haven't been in a few years. I can understand why a U.S. publisher would only cater to their own, but hopefully we are slowly moving towards being a global village.

No kiddimg.. I find his early works are not as easy to find in thrift stores but the later ones are. I have two copies of the dead zone both first edition not shure if I should donate the one with dust over is kind of gross

The publishers are restricted by law to only offering sweepstakes items in their territory, in this case the US. As far as I know, Simon & Schuster's Canadian subsidiary could be doing their own sweepstakes give-away but to the best of my knowledge have never done so.

I bought my ticket for the Toronto event the minute it went on sale. I’m near the middle of row AA. Stephen King is the author who helped me start writing. Even if I can’t shake his hand or get a signed copy, it’ll be an hell of an honour to be seated a few feets from him.
