I got to cook and be with my family members. We exchanged gifts as usual but are not pressured to spend our last penny. It was nice to receive some much wanted books as usual. It is -24C and just a while ago, a frozen stray cat appeared ...howling...at our front door. A stray and a bit feral. I do not know who gave him our address but it looks like we will be keeping him in a vacant room upstairs till we know what to do. How the heck did he know that we take in strays? I guess he got the best gift of all.
It is that invisible to human eyes, but visible to critters, sign above your home -- "Free room and board, with love and caring". I seem to have one too !!

My family know how obsessed i am with IT haha.

Some money and gift cards, a ‘Redrum’ bookend set, a few vintage King tees, some funko pops, a few books, an electronic typewriter.... :)
An electronic typewriter? That's cool! I have one of those in my basement from the "old days".

I wonder if I could still get the old Daisy wheels for it (typewriter 'ribbon' sort of thing).

He's one of the lucky ones - when it is so bitterly cold out there I feel bad for the homeless (both human and animals).
