Truly is indeed a most gorgeous book! Like John, I like to take mine down from its resting place every once in a while and look thru it (and smell it!) and admire every little detail that it has, from its really cool story artwork chapter 'headings' to the feel of the leather on the outside. This book has the distinction of causing the demise of its publisher (ScreamPress). Jeff Connor announced its publication and began taking pre-orders for it at $100 a pop (this was before the internet and home computers) and kept adding more and more of the little details that the book contains, without taking into account how much all of the quality materials were eventually going to cost and, after it was all said and done, I think he ended up losing money on it. I think it wasn't too much longer afterwards that he had to close up shop. Sad because its such an elegant edition and so very, very beautiful. I think it's the second best edition right behind the limited of The Stand.
