Guys, I've read IT and Under The Dome a while ago and noticed the same symbol appears both on Pennywise's lair and on the device that generated the dome. Is there an explanation to this that doesn't spoil other books? Is there anything about it on the Dark Tower saga?

I just used a stock photo of an old door, think that was a cathedral, and drew the symbol on,not very good but you get the idea,as the door into It's lair..what the symbol means,I don't know,I can't recall it ever being explained in any DT related books..

I don't know what that is but I'll make it my business to find out, lol.

Edit. Just Googled. DT ref, gotcha.

....essentially the PRIMordial ooze that all manner of dark things evolved from......great piece in the Dark Tower comics about it.....

It is a pre-Sumerian symbol meaning "Abandon all hope ye who enter." No, honest!

If the symbol is pre Sumerian, then why mention the Sumerians at all? And who in that event was there and made the symbol before the Sumerians?! Oh my head hurts,I will be up all night with this one.. ;)
mal, no bounce no play and GNTLGNT like this.

OK, this is more related to the movie, but since the symbol is here I have to ask...

Is that the same symbol used in the IT (2017) version when Stan puts his Torah back?

/I have not having reference mats in front of me for situations such as this.
