Hello,
I was first hooked on reading Stephen King in '81 when I read a well passed around paperback copy of "The Stand". "IT" also caught my imagination (scaring the hell out of me) and I started actively collecting books about then - late 80s. I finally was able to finish some book shelves and can proudly display some of the collection. These are all firsts:
Early on in collecting, I noticed the first appearances listed on the copyright pages of "Night Shift" and "Skeleton Crew", and started collecting those as well.
Along the way I came across a few ARCs:
A few odd things:
That's a hardcover of "The Longwalk"
A bunch of well loved paper back firsts:
Other editions and reprint collections:
I actively looked for "The Float" for years and was tossed out of more than one "adult book store" in the process!
