Oh you know it! That dude is going up during the thanksgiving holiday. I want to do him right now. Right now! But, out of respect for my kid who is appalled at the idea, I will refrain.

But, he's sitting out in the garage in his box, calling my name....
My girls wanted to get ALL of the Christmas decorations out of the attic on Nov 1st. Thankfully they listened to reason that it was just too soon! On the subject of cats in a tree, mine loves the tree skirt and makes it his official napping spot. I have had the pleasure of having a cat drop from a tree onto my shoulder while walking my girls to school eons ago. :0:

I think maybe we'll just set up the tree and not decorate it for a few days and see what she does. I may have to settle for some bows here and there and call it good!
SCORE!

And for all you other animal family members and small children, please contact Dana Jean for more information on how to get your home decorated for the holidays way way early.

This has been a public service announcement on behalf of the smaller voices during this holiday season.

They may take away our decorations, but they will never take away our interest!!!!!!

I feel very fortunate this year. I have a new family to go spend Thanksgiving with. I received some very nice FB messages from some of my fiancee's relatives down in Central Arkansas saying they were looking forward to meeting me and thank you for putting a smile back on her face. That was as nice as it was unexpected. As my family is pretty much BS crazy from top to bottom, I'm kind of looking forward to spending Thanksgiving with a family that apparently gets along pretty well. My fiancee's extended family, cousins, uncles, aunts, etc all seem to be very close and it's supposed to be a large gathering. Thanksgiving is apparently their biggest holiday since everyone spends Christmas with their immediate family, so, I'm actually looking forward to Thanksgiving this year which is a nice change. Apparently they have to rent out a building to do Thanksgiving in every year...lol Should be an interesting experience.
