So per the Stephenking.com site (listed after Revival and before the Carrie Special Editions), this short story collection is to be released on November 30, 2014. Are we to assume that is a mistake on the site? Rumors and recent SK interviews lead us to believe this short story collection will be out sometime in the middle of 2015... Anyone with concrete information?

AH, it is a graphic novel, (or at least graphic adaptations of some of his stories) that might explain why it has slipped of my radar. Havent seen it here though.
...it is an artistic rendering of several of his short stories in both volumes...Chadbourne has done beautiful work here...and I am lucky enough to have them in my collection...they are available on the Secondary Market-but won't come cheap...

Don't worry about the title, although I agree, I would have chosen a different one...in all seriousness, is it too late, Ms. Mod, for King to change it? That would truly be an interesting social experiment: can an author-centric discussion board impact the title of a new book?

But back to not worrying about the title -- it really doesn't matter. We all will get used to it. It isn't that bad -- sounds like a Clive Barker-type title, and you can't argue with that company -- and whatever one feels now about it, the feeling will disappear relatively quickly.

Now, though, you got me thinking. How about "A Basket of Bad Dreams." "Portfolio of Corruption." "Spoiled Dreams." "Corrupt Confections." "A Collection of Bad Dreams." "Marketplace of Madness." "Market of Madness." "Dreams and Death." "Dreams: Death..." (exactly with that punctuation). "The Death of Dreams." "Another Shift." "Another Night Shift." "The New Crew." "The Next Crew." "Tales From the Bad Dreams." "Corrupt Evolutions." "Insane Design."

If King ever wrote another memoir/nonfiction-survey-type book, a great title would be "Bad Dreams From Bangor (and Beyond)."

I must point out, perhaps a lot of what I just came up with has already been used, I didn't check. And that could be a reason for the title, that believe me, is fine enough. Looking forward to this project. (Will there be new stories as well?)

Whatever it is called I can't wait for it to come out, along with Finders Keepers and possible another Dark Tower novel (think I heard that one correctly) and maybe even re-writing all the Dark Tower ones, it does mean good times are ahead.

Glad you like that one, AchtungBaby. Your response made me think of the following as well: "Brief Corruptions." "Ephemeral Corruptions." "Corruptions in Brief." "Corrupt Diversions."

Liselle, isn't the whole "Dark Tower" thing fascinating? I wonder what King actually meant about the books and the editing.

It would be great if either the artist responsible for the "Nightmares & Dreamscapes" cover or the one who drew for "Desperation/Regulators" could do the cover for a collection called "The Bazaar of Bad Dreams." Be incredible to see an evil proprietor selling items featured in the stories to frightened customers in a haunted marketplace.
