Just popping in for a quick minute. Another crazy busy day in front of us. I will have the littl'uns tonight for a while, too, but I am looking forward to that. I miss them!
The frustration has settled in here, with teeth. Scott is tired of being at home, tired of me having to drive him, tired of hurting, just tired of it all. Will be 8 wks on Monday, so he has lasted longer than I thought he would, given that he is used to being outside 14-16 hrs on work days. And is generally pretty strong and active and just not the "let anyone do anything for me" type...we are about halfway through. Being winter time does not help, but if he was sitting here during spring and summer, it would be worse, I have no doubt...no fishing or shooting or shed hunting or or or...thank goodness for that, I say.
His therapists have been nothing but pleased with his progress, though. So that is good, right?
Changing gears. I love Tom Hanks!! Great choice for our Friday guy.
Here is my contribution. This was this last summer, I think. Just goes to show that he is one of the genuinely good people of the world, I think.

He has been doing some reloading this week. He enjoys that and was glad to be able to do some. Now he wants to go shooting though. He is right eye dominant so shoots right handed, (even though he is left handed) but it is still too jarring for his left shoulder. He is ahead of the curve, all the people in authority are telling him that. It is the patience factor, like you said. He has very little of that!

Okay, we had a young woman up the street who would stand out in the front and breast feed her kid. Okay, that is a beautiful natural thing. But, she was totally topless, the other booby was hanging out as well, no cover what so ever. Needless to say, my husband was driving by their house often because he's a perv.Probably has to do with the fact women can actually control themselves when they see a bare chested man, but us guys will wreck vehicles, hit pedestrians, or just leave the vehicle in the middle of the intersection if confronted with a topless lady. No matter if the guy is 65 years old, 25 years old, 15 years old...same reaction. All coherent thought processes get put on hold for a crucial few minutes while you attempt, in vain, to consider anything other than "boobs at 12 o'clock"
