Tequila and 21st birthday just made me get the shakes... and not in a good way! (think yard glass and tequila... )

Teeth problems are the worst ever. Impossible to think of anything else. And that tongue won't leave the problem area alone. It's seems to have it's own being. Suddenly has it's own life. You didn't know about.

It wasn't completely tequila thank goodness, they did splash a drop or two of beer into it.
(My friends had me playing a drinking game with tequila shots before the Yardie, so that I wouldn't notice the taste and then spiked the hell out of the beer with the rest of the bottle of tequila. My lasting memory of that night is of standing in the middle of the road talking to a police officer who was wishing me a happy birthday... right before I puked on his shoes. )

One day I will tell it. Did I mention rebarb and screaming running beach goers as I was coming in? Cleared a landing. You are really up there.
Just stared at the clips holding me in.

Friend was having a good ole time when she went. Not me. Didn't look at anything but the clips.

I haven't drank straight tequila in about 15 years. Made an exception to be DJ's test subject, and limited it to three shots, you know, so I could make an informed opinion.

I ruined my relationship with tequila on my 21st birthday. Learned a very good lesson - tequila is not for me. I swear I could feel my optic nerve for days. But I couldn't feel my teeth. It lingered. I haven't had it since. But what a night that was!

Today sucked. I broke a tooth - biting into a lemon cookie. A cookie! The Ogre says it looks like I had a filling and it crumbled. I hope that's it - it doesn't hurt and it's not showing, but still. A broken tooth? And I have a cold. And I let the pipes in some buildings I'm in charge of get frozen (and I just typed "frozed" - I kind of like that word better). I have to go see the dentist tomorrow - I'm hoping for some nitrous oxide for fun. Meanwhile, I'm worried about if my morning coffee tomorrow will hurt my tooth and if I should Uber to the dentist. I'm just going to take some Nyquil and call it a day. Fiddle dee dee - tomorrow's another day.

We are getting warmer here, so hold on everyone, warmer air is on the way! Except it seems it will be bringing a &$#*-ton of white stuff with it for a lot of you!

My kiddos go back to school today. Not too much grumbling about it yet. I still have my tree up, I have only gotten to the "I really want my living room back but ugh!! So much work to take it all down" stage.

We are getting warmer here, so hold on everyone, warmer air is on the way! Except it seems it will be bringing a &$#*-ton of white stuff with it for a lot of you!

My kiddos go back to school today. Not too much grumbling about it yet. I still have my tree up, I have only gotten to the "I really want my living room back but ugh!! So much work to take it all down" stage.

I'm still freezing my assets off over here. I think the high this week will be 20 on Saturday. School starts back today, but two hours delayed all week because of the low temperatures.
We took all our stuff down last weekend and cleaned the house up real nice. Glad my daughter was home to help me.

Great pic btw ma'am. Just keep drinking that backwoods stump water, that'll keep you warm. The "apple pie" I tried over Christmas weekend was not as advertised. "It doesn't even taste like alcohol", she told me. Ummmm no....if you didn't taste alcohol in that, you have a drinking problem because I'm pretty sure I could have powered my SUV with it...lol
