Lifehacker dot com has an article about something interesting (I had to delete the link as it came up with "please enter a message with less than 3000 characters")
The article talked about how to "Learn how to do nothing"
It's an interesting article. I recall a few years back when the doctor gave me quite a bit of time off - this is basically what he was doing - giving me a chance to destress and heal (I realize this now).
I'm home! And its Friday!!! And thats real nice! What is really, REALLY nice is that i don't have to get up in the morning. I can snuggle down in my cozy bed and sleep til i wake and no horrendous alarmclock will gong next to my innocent ear. Why did we ever invent the alarmclock? Were we Crazy? I think we must have been, perhaps still are, to invent that rude object that makes your morning a misery.

In olden days- farmers went to bed as the sun set and woke at sunrise. Now a days- humans are caught up in the cycle of alarm clocks! Have a restful and fun weekend.

Been a busy week with work and I bought the whole series of X Files so I have watching that most of this week. I returned back to
90's with this series.
We had cold beginning of this week and now it's zero, raining and slippery. The weather change so radically here. I'm waiting for spring.
All else is well and next weekend I get My Lucky Star, yes I get my new horse. I am so excited. Very soon she will be mine.
Hope all is feeling well or getting better soon. Sending good thoughts to all on MB.

I'm swamped here at the church, but wanted to stop by before we sign off for the weekend. I totally get it - Mods need their time off - especially since they are volunteers! My job often calls for weekend work - as is the case this weekend. But I try to take a weekday off to balance. You gotta have balance in your life.

Oh what are you eating tonight? I'm thinking of hot wings - but I don't want to make them - I want to buy them. And I have a fridge full of Sam Adams Cold Snap - it's so good. Will be very good with hot wings.

Wow - why did I do that? It said in my cook book I could put some raisins on top of the bread (I think it said 'scatter' across the top). I tried to push them into the bread dough while it was still rising, but I ended up with raisins popping off and landing on the floor of the oven!
I had to go in there with a heat proof oven mitt and rescue a whole bunch of them as they were turning big, round and black and starting to smoke!
(They were inedible of course but I did not want my house to smell like a fire pit).
Hope the rest of the raisin bread turns out to be edible. I had only put half a cup in the dough and also used some cinnamon and sugar when forming the loaf.
