Good morning from Berlin.
I had a fever again last night, and I feel like crap. I have this work thing today that I have been looking forward to, so I guess I had better tank up on coffee... This "always" happens.
Berlin is lovely in December. Decorations, Christmas markets, special menus in the restaurants. And, it is not cold!

Mid week day off for me today, going to get busy with the housework, and get some last bits for Chrimbo. Different wrapping paper for my boys stocking, I think this will be the last Christmas he is a believer. In fact, I think he may already have doubts, but at 10, I think we have one more in us. Hey Lepplady - cool idea! I like this even better than the wee marshmallow treat that looks like a cup of cocoa - this looks more "do-able" - I'll have to give it a try!I'm trying to think of something special to do for Tuesdays around Ye Olde Cantina. There are thousands of memes for Monday, we've got Clyde on Wednesdays, Buckwheat and Pyro run the place on Thursdays, and we're just looking forward to the weekend on Fridays. Tuesday is a nice, solid day of the week that gets completely overlooked.
Hmmm. I'm going to have to think about this.
In the meantime, cupcakes all around.

I've been brushing my two Siamese quite a bit lately and they are just loving it
Their fur coats are looking better and starting to gleam just a wee bit!
- it seems to help them bond better too, as I use the same bristly round hair brush on both of them (less bickering, too!) - one of them used to be a 'jerk' to the other one and would chase him off the bed 
Morning Clyde and friends! Busy day at work today. We are hiring for a new person in our group and I have to lead 4 panel interviews and then a "de-briefing" to see who we want to go with. Wish me luck and pass me a coffee, please!

Good morning!
The concert was fun last night. It was the 6th grade classes from 3 of our elementary schools and they did an awesome job. They only had 1 practice all together, yesterday afternoon and it was great. Makes me miss my band days! Not Christmas music, though, you know how that goes these days. Really makes me sad that none of my younger kids will ever have a "Christmas" program.
I am not hurting in my ribs today but feel more congested this morning. Think I've decided on cheating on the cupcakes this time, and just buying them, that way I'm not spreading my germs around.
Hubby's extra night shift was moved from last night to tonight, so another day of quiet around here. Not going to complain about the OT, but that is only going to give him tomorrow to get himself switched back over to days for his 3 day shifts starting Friday.

Yeh - I know what you mean - sometimes it sucks to be in an office with no sense of ha ha - I miss the camaraderie we used to have in the military
Stopping in to wish you all a good day. Really busy day ahead for me. Have to clean and bake a cake for my Father in law who is coming over for his birthday. I also have to catch up on my wrapping since my girls will be home after Friday. Everyone be safe, and stay warm.
