Sending a prayer that she just went to bed or signed off to get a snack. I am going to have to take half an "anxiety tablet" (as Andy calls them) i.e. lorazepam

So I finally got a new Laptop. I am really happy with it. And it wasn't expensive.
I simply lost to much time with the old one it was in the end really slow after the last year repair.
Gonne have to install some programms, run another anti virus scan and transfer important files to it.
The Keyboard is different from my old one. Of course it is also Qwertz but the enter key for example is on another position. This will take some time probably.

I've got my A/C on. I know, people still getting snow cast a stink eye in my general direction, but we PAY for those mild winters and early spring. Summers here are insufferable.
Thanks for all of the concern, all. I did go this morning. By myself, no one else to go with. It was a nice man who showed me the place. He was very professional and respectable.

I'm about to become an empty-nester. My daughter and her fiance got approved for the apartment they were after. I have mixed emotions about it. On one hand, I'm excited for them, but on the other, I still see my little pigtailed 5 year old, y'know? They'll do great. I'll be a wreck.

Well, I'm glad all that got resolved before I even knew so I wouldn't worry. I do think most people are good - maybe not saints, but most people wouldn't hurt someone else intentionally. Lepplady I know what you mean! Though I sent mine off to college in 2010, I had really hoped she'd move home for a while when she graduated. Nope - she's got a place of her own where all the hipsters live. It's going fine though. You might find you actually enjoy it

Random thought. Secret thought to see what he/she would look like. I think that is why I wanted to have a child - but that did not happen.

It is freaky how much my oldest looks like me, but has my husband's lanky body. She's blond and green eyed, I'm dark hair and dark eyes, but her face is exactly like mine.
