I actually had some with daisies on the toes.....Surprise!
I had a pair back in the day. Loved them, made me feel happy!
Thats all we wore back in the day. And even with our flip flops.
Yes, I wore them with stack shoe sandals . . .that was the thing back then. I really loved those socks.
Same here, for quite some time I wore only this kind of sock. Now, I can't even imagine why!
I am very bored now. Trying to be careful, so I get rid of this flu without complications (which I normally always get), requires me to stay inside and limit my activity for a few more days. Bf is out grocery shopping, and will probably get a hair cut, which I desperately want, too. Bargh, argh, bleh, etc.
So, that's my negative input for the day, I will try to behave from now on.
On a more positive note, I ordered clothes online that arrived today. First time using that shop, and everything fit perfectly

I seen they are saling this type toe socks in stores here again. Oh the memories.
Some people swear by them, I read that they think it's better for the toesies to be all wrapped up like that.
But...I am weird when it comes to socks. These days, I only wear wool, even in the summer. Breathable, non stinky, and keeps me from getting blisters. As SK said in Hamburg: You can't be totally normal, after all, you read my books!

It is 11:00 a.m. or thereabouts. My son has to go to bowling and is still in bed, so I better go wake up his lazy arse!

I don't think I will accompany him to bowling today. I did that last week so I think this week he will have to just 'make do' without me there. I have some things I need to do around the house today. Take care out there!

Yes - actually I do after all (although I thought Andy would be here).
He forgot to mention last night that he volunteered at the Legion at the end of our street. Every Saturday they have a Meat Draw. So on January 1st this year he said he volunteered to cook ribs and serve them to people at the meat draw today. (Spare ribs with his special sauce at 7.95 a plate).
I am not sure if they are serving that with bread or some other side dish.
So that should keep him occupied for a few hours!
It's great when I have the house all to myself. For about 20 minutes. Then I miss everybody and want them to come back.
It takes a bit longer for me to miss mine... small house you know.
