Absolutely. She is really the stronger of the two. At least in mind. She can face her own problems when the story begins but sam is really learning from her how to and what is necessary to do so. She not only learns him how but help him all the way.I also liked how Sam's view of Naomi/Sarah changed as his appreciation of her grew.
That was the best part of the story, how Sam and Sarah rediscovered each other through adversity. They'd worked together and even went on a few dates, but never really knew each other.Absolutely. In that way it was really two stories The story of the library policeman and the story of Sam and Sarah and both moves forward without one story makes the other one slow down.
