Nope. He objected when they decided that once the show moved to the prison, it would have to have 50% of the scenes indoors (indoors on a set is cheaper than shooting outdoors). Thy also were making double the episodes with the same budget, and he didn't like that either. Here we go:
‘The Walking Dead’ series co-creator Frank Darabont sues AMC claiming loss of profits - NY Daily News
Frank Darabont is suing for being left out of licensing.
I wonder if that's why he was fired!!!
No I have not. Nor do I plan to.If you've read the comics (and I suspect you haven't), you realize that the show is far kinder to it's protags than Kirkman is to their graphic novel doppelgangers
I don't care. I like both incarnations Though last season had it's moments (particularly the brief return of Morgan), it was pretty weak overall--got away from the basic premise. This year is superior (so far), and I'm looking forward to what comes next.
Best of luck finding something you like better, OD.

It appears both the comics and the show are missing the same thing that the writer, for which this forum was created, himself wrote about in my most favorite bit of writing from him:
"Remember Red, hope is a good thing, maybe the best of things, and no good ever dies'
I have found something else. Not really the same type of show but much more fun - Sleepy Hollow. John Noble rules.
Yes it's fun too but I hope it becomes more serialized and explore Dorian's background more too.Isn't that a fun show? I thought it would be awful, but it's my favorite newbie from this year ALMOST HUMAN turned out to be pretty darned good, too (after the first half of the first episode--I almost gave up right before it caught its stride)
You can have the action figure... and I'll take the original.I want a Daryl Dixon action figure for Christmas.
Well, I think that Santa might have an easier go delivering the action figure. LOLYou can have the action figure... and I'll take the original.
Well now if the big red guy can fit down our chimney, I'm going to hope he can use a little of that same magic to fit Daryl into his big red bag.Well, I think that Santa might have an easier go delivering the action figure. LOL
You take Daryl, I'll take Rick. You can have the action figure... and I'll take the original.
I finished the marathon at 5 am this morning. I did not see them all in the marathon-but it was good finish
I haven't seen anything like that, and I've been reading the comics for yearsI'm just jumping into this thread, haven't read anything before this. I was curious what some may think of this idea, or if this has already been done in the comic books (or anywhere else for that matter).
Has there ever been a storyline where a corpse doesn't wake up and start eating people? Perhaps this corpse is worshipped by a group of zealots and the government tries to get at it so it can be researched? If this hasn't been done before, might make for a cool short story. I would like to take a stab at writing something like this, but I fear it probably has already been thought of.
