First off, it rocks. And I'm not talking about the AC/DC soundtrack.
Second has to do with its need for an unrated blu-ray/DVD release. It would be awesome.
Third has to do with people's questions about the Malibu. Usually why it didn't come alive and kill the newlyweds. The obvious answer is in the movie itself. The radio while Dek is riding his bike says "some machines are waking up slower than others". So that's on reason. Second could be the car liked the newlyweds and didn't want them dead.

I own/ restored the original Green Goblin head used on the Happy Toyz truck in the movie. I travel across America and Canada doing Horror &N Comic Cons with it to share with fans. I am friends with the actor that played Curtis. In the credits his name is John Short which is actually a screen name he used. At this time I can't release his real name but he, Lora Harrington and a few other cast members will be attending a few cons with me this year in celebration of the 30th anniversary of Maximum Overdrive! Dates will be coming soon.... MAXIMUM OVERDRIVE ROCKS!!!
