He sure is not trying to laugh! Forgot about this video. Thank you for posting! And yeah, Mr. Petty songs are good times.

Let's roll.
LOL. Let's roll indeed. I can remember when this song first started being played on the radio, the word "joint" would be scrambled...we always thought that was hilarious and usually the only excuse we needed to do exactly what he was singing about..lol
Hope you are well NN, take care ma'am.

Maybe this was mentioned in the Runnin' Down A Dream documentary, but did he style his singing especially after Roger McGuinn, because he was a fan of him? It seems to me more that they share a style of singing than that their voices are exactly alike.

This answers my question. Didn't know McGuinn and the Byrds were that important to him. Most reviews and articles I read about him compared him to the Rolling Stones.

Lots of giants of music on this stage! Watch how in awe Dhani Harrison of being up there with all of them. Prince took his solo to a whole 'Nuther level.....(and I just read that he didn't even get to practice it with the band, that when the time came for him to do the solo another guitar player took over and did it both times they were practicing!). Yes! I felt sorry for the kid, he was hanging in - and spooked at the same time with how much he looks like his dad. Thanks for the link.
