Oh, I'm so happy for you little shark -- what about the damn moose? Who will mourn for him? I will stand up and be counted on the moose's behalf. Probably just getting a drink, or cooling off, minding its own business and BAM!

I was wondering the same thing so clicked on the More option and found out that hunters often butcher their kills near the water there and throw the bits they don't want into the harbor so they speculated the shark came upon one of those discarded bits of moose--it didn't kill it. Still poor moose but Jaws wasn't the bad guy for once. :)

I still think something should be done about the falling rock signs. It's dangerous to let them just fall right next to the road.
A friend took me with her family to their cabin in the mtns. All along the route were falling rock signs and I kept joking about poor rock, falling all over the place and someone needed to take care of him.

The girl's mother painted a face on a rock and attached a bowtie and gave it to me to remember our trip to the cabin. My mom used it as a doorstop till the day she died.
