The painting shows three figures (Big Jim says the figures are Pauline, Junior and himself) There's a crack in the (dome? sky?) and what seem to be two windows in the (dome? sky?). The figures are (falling?) into a fire.

the dome is contracting-- if a sphere contracts would it not crack at some point?? So are the prediction of this painting coming into play?

shrinking dome...
I guess if the dome
brought Melanie back to life, it can as easily kill her as it is obvious she is connected with the egg... Watching the last episode I thought the answer is aliens, otherwise I do not know. The egg behaves strangely and the dome is shrinking... Things are getting weirder and weirder!

I'm wondering if that vortex between the red door and the lake is still open. Maybe Hunter can convince Barbie's dad to bring the egg back to the dome through the vortex. If the egg is returned, maybe the dome will stop shrinking. I'm also wondering where Lyle was all that time. Could the vortex between the red door and the lake be a two-way entrance/exit?
Did I misinterpret something or when did Hunter May become one of the 4? He was able to put his hand on the dome without getting zapped so is he replacing Angie as the 4th?
