Weekly Survey for the week of 8/20/17

1. As a child, what did you want to be when you grew up?
Writer & Illustrator

2. What did you actually wind up doing?
Manage the Tech Support dept for a software development company. It sucks.

3. How many and what kind of pets do you have?
None at the moment, but my most recent were three dogs.

4. What has been your favorite place to travel so far?
There's a small mountain behind my old school. always liked it there.

5. Where do you most want to travel next?
New Zealand.

6. What is one thing that made you happy last week?
Thinking about my vacation coming up in a couple of weeks.

7. Are you going to watch the eclipse (or did you, if you answer after)?
Watched it on a live-stream (it didn't occur where I live).

8. Next Generation or the original series?
Ahem. I believe it is referred to as "Classic" Trek. =D

9. What's the funniest video on the internet?
Can't think of anything at the moment.

10. What is your favorite audiobook to listen to (let's face it, not all King books get great readers)?
I've only listened to a few so far, all King's. I'd say IT.

Alaska. It'd be better off in Canada and I wouldn't mind visiting my in-laws as much.

Usually, I'm singing...so I guess imagining my life in another world where I'm a Broadway superstar.

She works hard for the money.

Yes. I'm shameless.

Obviously, he overshot his Mexican vacation destination by a couple thousand miles. It has been toasty here though.

I regularly refer to myself as having "colandar brain".

I wouldn't. I'm just not that handy.

Well, it costs $34 to visit so I guess 136. ;)

I don't. Gross.

Probably pizza. I haven't been able to eat it in years due to health issues and use to absolutely adore it. If I'm not going to be around to suffer the consequences, I may as well!

1. "If you could get rid of one state in the U.S., which would it be and why?" Missouri. I think they're planning on invading our northern border someday. The best defense is a good offense:)

2. "What do you think about when you are alone in your car?" My past mostly. Good times at the police department where I worked sometimes. If I'm listening to music I have a lot of memories associated with most songs on my iPod.

1. "If you could get rid of one state in the U.S., which would it be and why?" West Virginia. No one from there knows how to drive.;-D just kidding if you are actually from WV and easily offended.

2. "What do you think about when you are alone in your car?" I don't think. I sing. Loudly!

9. "How do you make a tuna sandwich?" What's with all the hating on tuna. For one can of tuna, add a heaping tablespoon of mayo, a squirt of Sriracha, some Tony's, and a few diced up pickles and jalapenos. Melt some cheddar cheese on an English muffin, then add the tuna. Awesomeness!

10. "What would you choose as your last meal?" Right now, I'd pick a rare filet mignon, baked potato and grilled veggies. Tomorrow, it would be something else. I have a hard time choosing one favorite anything.

1. "If you could get rid of one state in the U.S., which would it be and why?" - that's a tough one. a lot of them have some bad points. maybe alaska just because, based on it's location it makes more sense for it to be canadian.

2. "What do you think about when you are alone in your car?" - any and everything


3. "What song best describes your work ethic?" - Work Hard, Play Hard (the title, not the lyrics)

4. "Have you ever stolen a pen from work?" - probably

5. "A penguin walks through that door right now wearing a sombrero. What does he say and why is he here?" - "i just flew in from antarctica and boy are my arms tired" . . . he's on vacation

6. "How would you rate your memory?" - decent for facts and figures, not so great for personal stuff. call it average.

7. "What kitchen utensil would you be?" - spoon?

8. "How many quarters would you need to reach the height of the Empire State building?" - 1,000,000

9. "How do you make a tuna sandwich?" - you don't

10. "What would you choose as your last meal?" - as long as red lobster's cheese biscuits are involved somehow, i'm flexible on the rest

Welcome back at last :cheerful:

Thanks Neesy it is good to be back. Evac'd most of the time, first because of floods and then
wildfires. Just typical B.C. stuff. Went to my daughter's for awhile in Vancouver after I broke
my foot. She took me on a dinner cruise and I drank a few too many margaritas. It was a fun evening :)
