I've been playing the new Animal Crossing and a bit of the original Doom from 1993, totally similar games. I beat Hollow Knight over the weekend but will still play it some to do some of the side content.

The Animal Crossing villagers I start with were Kody the bear and Sylvia the kangaroo. I've been using the custom shirt editor to recreate band shirts

Cool! I just looked it up and it is a game developed by a Canadian studio - I see it is available for PS4 - maybe I should look it up when we are able to go out to the EB Games store (eventually)
It is totally set in the Canadian wilderness. Many of the items you pick up and read are in French. The guy narrating definitely has a Canadian accent. It's pretty cool.

Has you guys ever play Zelda Ocarina of Time on N64 before.
yes, I've beaten a majority of the games, it was my favorite game series in middle school and I still appreciate it and replay the games from time to time. I feel Ocarina of Time is quite overrated though, at least in my opinion. Maybe it's because I prefer the top-down Zeldas to the 3d ones, but ocarina of time felt kinda generic (to me), but I understand a lot of people have nostalgia for it, just not anywhere near my favorites

Ordering a giant Kaiju statue may not be the most practical addition to my island’s infrastructure, but it sure looks radical. It roars and breathes fire when you touch it

Chex will be releasing a remastered version of their video game series from the 90s, Chex Quest, which spanned 3 entries and came as prizes in their cereal boxes. Like the original copies, the remastered games will come in their cereal boxes, this time as a download code for Steam.

The game series is an iconic piece of the 90s as actually pretty well made for something that came in a cereal box. All the games are kid-friendly parodies of the original Doom games, and somehow turned one of the most iconic and gory first-person shooters of all time into a kids game. The game involves you being an agent of the Cereal federation investigating a planet invaded by Aliens that want to steal and eat cereal, and blasting them with laser guns. It’s become a favorite with both Doom fans and people merely nostalgic for the game back in the 90s.

I’ve played an hour or so of the original and am glad Chex is acknowledging its cult following by giving it a fresh coat of paint. The games are very charming in their cartoonish parody of a game about journeying into hell to slaughter the demons that killed your pet rabbit, and instead somehow making it about zapping non-lethal lasers at aliens that want to steal your cereal.
