Oh yes. I was telling HollyGolightly recently how I can't get enough of either of these. I made salmon patties a few weeks back. If you ever get back down here, please eat at a real Southern restaurant. I do enjoy Cracker Barrel, though. It's just not home cookin'. :)
Oh definitely. We have another real southern restaurant we go to, fresh catch daily and family owned sort of thing. But, they also are subject to availability sometimes, so Cracker Barrel is our next stop!

If you get back to the south, you should come and eat at Chez Holly! But don't come in July or August. I can't cook - it's too hot.

Tonight I got Chicfila for kids, the Ogre got fed steak at work (!) and I ate cold rotisserie chicken and some cantaloupe . And some wine. Bought mostly for the color - I love rose gold, I'm late to the party on that but I love it. Sparkly pink. And it's got a little fizz to it. Sparkly.

I am not a drinker. But, I bought one of these to try:

I could stand in a hot kitchen for hours (slicing celery, peeling potatoes, watching over boiling pots, frying pork chops) and I wouldn't mind one bit. It relaxes me.

(I tried 3 times to upload a gif of Cary Grant in an apron cooking LOL)
No! OMG - I kept trying to think of what I could stand to cook tonight. I offered BLTS.

Edit: I was trying to upload it too. He's cute. Didn't work for me.

Those will be good! Which one? I sometimes, sometimes, add some ginger ale to my wine if I'm drinking all day - like at a pool party or something. Mostly I'm a glass before bed kind of girl. Lookout if I have two, though!
I was wondering the same thing too - I would probably choose the crisp white one

I had Spaghetti
What kind? There's spaghetti with meat sauce, spaghetti carbonara (with bacon and parmesan cheese and lots of garlic) etc. Or you could have had the kind my hubby likes - the stuff in the can! (ewww) Weird huh? This guy is a chef but he will eat canned spaghetti - just one of his little quirks.

This isn't supper but just lunch - sauteed some celery, baby carrots, onion and scallion with broccoli and cauliflower in a bit of olive oil. Then I added one package of those shrimp flavor noodles minus about half of the seasoning package. Added boiling water, hoisin sauce and a bit of Frank's Red Hot sweet and spicy sauce.

I think I've figured out how many points to count it as on Weight Watchers. Right now I'm just winging it - going to Google and trying to find good recipes to use.

Besides what you eat, it's also how much, so I will just have one bowl of it.

I'm enjoying this change in my diet as I feel I am in control now whereas before it seemed the more I gained the faster I could put on more pounds. So now I plan ahead.

Sorry if this sounds like I'm pontificating or on a soap box. For those who can eat whatever they want and still stay the same - good on you! I remember the days when I was like that (way back when) :fat:

I came here to say that I'm having spaghetti (bolognese) tonight, but I see I'm not the only one on this page. :welcoming:
That sounds yummy! I enjoy cooking and baking. I also like spaghetti with just some butter and salt then a sprinkling or either Parmesan or mozzarella cheese and finished off with a grind of fresh black pepper.
