Can't find any info on a new book. Her website states that she's still on tour promoting her new book Save Yourself. That was published in 2013 or 2014!
This is slightly off topic but have you read any of Emma Straub? She's Peter Straub's daughter. I think she wrote The Vacationers. And do you like Peter Straub?

What is her new one and when does it come out?

When Owen was touring with Stephen for Sleeping Beauties, someone in the audience asked if she was working on a new book and he said, "Yes." I don't think he elaborated on anything else.

Poor petuh. Petuh can be apples and oranges with his work. I do like some of it. But, he has written one of the most awful stories ever, Bunny Is Good Bread which he dedicated to Stephen King. Disgusting, dirty story. Icky poo!

I've read Laura Lamont's Life in Pictures by Emma Straub. It was good although in all honestly, I can't remember a thing about it now.

I've heard of her and wondered if there was a connection.

The only books I've read of his (besides the SK collabs) are Koko (totally freaked me out) and In the Night Room. His writing style takes some getting used to IMO. I need recommendations, so I know what books to hunt down.

You need to read Ghost Story by Peter Straub. It is a classic in the genre and his best book IMHO. Any book that has the first line (hooker) of 'What's the worst thing you've ever done?' has to be a corker, right? Then try Shadow Land or Floating Dragon.

As best as I can tell, people either love his multi-layered style or they hate it. I would recommend If You Could See Me Now or Ghost Story.

Ghost story was very good and Floating Dragon also. I get hung up on his shorter work.

Without a doubt Ghost Story! His best IMHO. If you liked Koko you might like the other in that series. Mystery and The Throat (Blue Rose series) . Of his later stuff Lost Boy, Lost Girl and then there is also the early Straub Floating Dragon.

I'm on chapter 26 of Alert by Patterson/Ledwidge. Was getting super frustrated that I wasn't given background on some of the personal info mentioned in the beginning of the book. Then after reading the back cover, realized it's part of a series. :facepalm_smiley:

I've done this so many times - Michael Connelly's Harry Bosch series, Lee Child's Jack Reacher novels, Jeffrey Deaver's Lincoln Rhyme books...Think the only ones I might've read in order are RIdley Pearson's Lou Boldt novels. Wish he would write more books about Lou and Daphne. :smile2:

I fear that Ridley has succumbed to the churning grindhouse that is the Disney Corporation and is being forced to write those kid/teen books for them. ;)
