Picked up a brand-new HC of Go Set A Watchman at the thrift shop. Also one of Horns, which I was itching to re-read.
....bought mine on eBay....this looks interesting.. wondering were i can find a copy
Horns was a wonderful read. Such an uncomfortable atmosphere. Nobody came off particularly likeable. Still it works uncommonly well. Somehow the film had the same atmosphere. I must reread.Horns is an amazing book. I did not know if i would like it or not given that hill hates this book and i consider it to be his "tommyknockers" as he hates himself when he wrote horns but it blew me away and i really love that book.. Its in my top 5 of hills books yet
