He was who got me onto King. Read nearly all his before I started on King... I always thought of him as King-esque, with a bit of sex thrown inAh A mr James Herbert Fan. Love him. Sadly missed. RIP James.
UPDATE: If I never read the words 'nipple' or 'smouldering' again, it will be a week and a half too soon. My brain aches. *smh*Struggling through the girly book so I can get the darn review finished. *sigh*

I enjoyed sole survivor but haven't read odd hours and, shock, it's on the DK bookshelve in my lounge.I went to library today and borrowed three books.
61 hours by Lee Child
Sole Survivor by Dean Koontz
Odd Hours by Dean Koontz
I thought to start with Sole Survivor. That book sounded most interesting to begin with.
Uncomfortable is a great description. All the stories have an edge, and some of the subject matter I tend to steer away from, but as always the characters keep you glued to the page when I would normally put it aside.Full Dark, No Stars. I've read the first two novellas in it. It's ... dark and uncomfortable. Good stuff.
Did you like "Big Driver"? I really enjoyed that story - very scary!Full Dark, No Stars. I've read the first two novellas in it. It's ... dark and uncomfortable. Good stuff.
The first book in the series is the absolute best, in my opinion - it really held me enthralled. I like the way Diana Gabaldon writesI haven't started yet, but want to start reading the Outlander series of books.

I just finished Big Driver - deeply disturbing. Even the ending didn't really comfort me. It was good though. I need something lighter for a little while.Full Dark, No Stars. I've read the first two novellas in it. It's ... dark and uncomfortable. Good stuff.
Hi kiddo.I wanna read those . . .but I'm afraid that they may be too much like romance stories for my taste.
You poor thing. I tried to read a girly book once where the author used um and er --constantly . . .I could not finish the book, which was too bad because the plot was pretty good.
