Season 5 of House of Cards dropped on Netflix today. Took in the first 2 eps. It's great watching President Underwood terrorise his own country, although given the current political state in... er, maybe I'll be quiet now.
Right now, nothing but Atlantis and rewarding Buffy. I watched the first 5 Handmaids, but have lost interest as it has strayed from the source material.
I haven't watched past ep 5 myself. I might watch the rest this weekend, though. I absolutely loved the first 3, but thought they jettisoned too much of Atwood's social commentary in favor of leering at the weird sex. There were other things that bothered me, but I won't go into it hereHey there, good looking!
Are you enjoying summer break? (Do you have summer break?)
I've only watched the first five episodes. (It was gnarly. Seriously.) So, I shouldn't watch the rest? I was going to wait for next week so I could binge watch thru until the end.
You may like Shots Fired (Hulu the entire season is available)
Hugs!
It starts tomorrow, doesn't it?!! It will take some doing (don't have the TV access I used to have) but I will definitely watch it when I can. I usually have to recap the last episode of the previous season too, but for some reason, I completely remember the last one!morgan and AchtungBaby
Are we going to watch OITNB?
(I need to read a recap of season four, before.)
Just finished ATLANTIS (Hulu). The first season was fun, if a bit 'kiddie', but the second season was very absorbing! Not for the Greek mythology purist, as it plays fast and loose with characters and traditional storylines. I love the myths, but a good story is a good story Wish it had gone on longer.
I also watched IN DEFENSE OF FOOD (Netflix) this afternoon. Michael Pollan is one of my absolute favorite food writers, and I've read this particular book three times. The documentary is very interesting!
