Seeing him play with his fingers was encouraging for me. I can strum with a pick but get it all caught up in the strings if I try to pick them.

I think he only used his thumb on this version. He and Tal. She works it. I saw him on TV this week doing a concert and the chic bass player was every bit this good, maybe better.

Have you tried choking up on the pick? Less pick surface hitting the strings might help.

Some new Joe Satriani. Album is pretty great. Joe on guitar, Glenn Hughes on bass, and Chad Smith on drums.

I think Sunny will like this one. Very 80's. But with a Zepplin vibe as Jason (son of John) Bonham is the drummer. Alas, 90's alternative came along and sweet the majority of bands like this away.
